BMC has a rich heritage as a leading provider of agriculture in the East Midlands, for generations, students have gained all the experience they need on our 850 acre site at Brooksby, gaining hands-on experience of every aspect of farming, crop and animal production.

This vocational experience along with chances to enter regional and national competitions, enables students to get the very best out of their time at BMC, making sure they are ‘work ready’ when they graduate. In fact 100% of students in 2012/13 went on to gain employment in the agriculture or related sector.

This course prepares you to enter employment within the agricultural industry or to progress to further qualifications. It is a broad course providing practical skills and knowledge over a range of subjects including livestock management and plant and animal production.
The aim of these courses is to provide the knowledge and skills required to manage farms and estates, the course provides further arable work through utilisation of the estate. On the estate you will be introduced to many of the environmental skills required within the agricultural industry.
